I prefer Alan Wrenches

I like flathead screws because it's basically giving you permission to use a not-screwdriver.

Flathead screws don't strip as easily either.

I like when 4 are regular Allen and 1 is the needle star key one because "We're protecting you from harm, sir." "We promise it's not a designed obsolescence, right-to-repair issue to make the majority of customers increase our product turnaround"

There's nothing wrong with Allen wrenches. As long as you're using the right size. And there's the fact that there's metric & inch versions. And for some reason 9 mm Allen wrenches are almost impossible to find, yet Volvo uses it for their brake calipers.

Because its not a standard size for nuts and bolts. And in being so thats the exact reason Volvo uses them; so youre forced to buy the tool from them or take it to the dealership.

Allen wrenches with a T handle are best.
