  1. Characters don't have 60 second internal monologues while 10 seconds of real time pass around (ex: while charging an enemy)
  2. Characters aren't in a constant state of exaggerated shock. No need to act like they've seen a ghost when they hear something slightly surprising.
  3. If there were actual responses to a character's exaggerated facial expressions. In amine, a character's face reveals the entirety of the emotion they are feeling without holding back yet there seems to rarely be responses to it.
  4. No more "enemy escapes due to waiting too long to do something". Have an enemy on the ropes? Let me have a quick internal monologue.... aaand he's gone.

Meh. Depends on the show and moment. Everything in the op has been done well by some shows, and poorly by others.

There's too much variety in anime to make a general criticism like that.

Anime would be better if romance wasn't just constant teasing/baiting until the last 2 minutes of the last episode
