This job wants me to come in and shadow an employee for a day to see if I want the job.

I've never done anything like that for a job so it seems shady and just free labor

What industry? Some will be relentless and bring you in for an event with no intention of hiring.

And its 100% shady. The "shadowing" is supposed to be paid training. Lol. Lousy manager/company it sounds like

It's like a repair industry. An old friend told me to apply. It's servicing kitchen equipment for restaurants.
