Haven't left the house since April. Had a psychiatrist appointment today made it halfway down my road before I had a full blown panic attack. They were able to have a phone visit with me. She upped my zoloft and switched me from Xanax to clonazipan I think it was called. Also suggested I get a dog and talking it on walks could help me

I also became agoraphobic when I was 15. It was a long and tough road of exposure therapy before I could resume a regular life. You have to work hard. That's all I can really say.

Have you ever tried CBD? I know it works wonders for general anxiety, but I'm curious if it has much effect on severe cases like yourself.

I have a friend who gets panic attacks before important things like interviews and it worked very well for her.

Nah burning through my savings. It's income based housing though and since I technically don't have an income I'm not getting charged much. I have food stamps and a friend does my shopping for me. It used to not be like this I loved going places and being around people then something in me just broke

Dang. Can't trace it back to anything? Some kind of bad experience?

Nah I've tried talked to multiple therapists too. It just started happening one day and spiraled out of control since. Been going on for over ten years but started getting worse about two years ago.

I assume it is Clonazepam.

Can't imagine needing to deal with that. I've had one full panic attack (was legit sitting on the floor yelling and throwing stuff around the room, completely out of control of myself and struggling to breath). That was about 2 years ago. Been able to handle my anxiety better since and started a low dose of anxiety medicine back in April because it started building up again.

I don't have the luxury of income based rent but hopefully that helps while you get back to yourself. Work is the main cause of my anxiety and being able to step away for a while would have helped a lot. Leaving my job in 2 weeks though, starting something new elsewhere next month.
