My girlfriend thinks I'm a weirdo, but I walked her through it and she got it. Like in this one neighborhood we were gonna buy a house in, I walk by and pretend I'm someone else or that parts of my family are there and they don't recognize me. It's fun to pretend. Some people can't do it though. I started doing it as a kid and didn't pick it up again until Covid happened when I didn't work a while and took 3-hour hikes every day. Probably a way to make things more fun shrug --- "Torture experiments. We're all monkeys." "They hurt you?"
