Like in my area, people have just stopped wearing masks. This is despite everybody around me also getting COVID-19 within the past several months. And now that Joe Biden and Jill Biden have gotten it, it just proves that nobody can escape it. Meanwhile, nobody is wearing masks, which is the opposite of 2020 when everybody was wearing masks, but not that many people had gotten it yet. Shouldn't we be back to masks for the pandemic to slow down again?

Most of my coworkers don't mask, and are getting COVID like clockwork. It's crazy.
One of my enby coworkers got it and infected at least two other coworkers before they were symptomatic.

Is it irony or stupidity?

What I find strangest about this post is that people in your area just stopped masking.

I haven't seen masks in basically over a year since the MN state mask mandate was removed in I think May 2021. Yeah I see them sporadically but for all intents and purposes, it's been done for a year.

Cases are up in your area? Compared to when? Are the deaths and hospitalizations also up?

Its really the immune compromised that the restrictions are for these days.

I thought the summer was supposed to be a pandemic downtime but it wasnt. Fall-winter probably gonna be brutal for this pandemic.
