They never show her as such.

She can literally time travel and hop into other realities.

She could hop in time into the ultimate universe when it still existed.

Why is it they kinda just ignore this other than when they want a story where she messes up and gets lost or something?

Not to mention that just her mutant power and she is good at magic like dr.strange.

Same reason why the Flash doesn't run around the world and lock up all the badguys in .0000000000000000000000000001 seconds.

My understanding is for flash to do this takes significant effort and can possibly kill him.

For Magik it is just like Goku doing instant transmission and she can do a whole team of people. Like easy as riding bike.

Well maybe she doesn't want to fuck up the timeline

Depending on the writer; sometimes The Flash perceives things in a way that makes it feel like normal speed to him so it would literally be years of him doing it in his head.
