Board 8 > Is it still a way better deal to build your own gaming PC nowadays?

I feel like the industry has changed quite a bit since then though, and feel like you can get a decent gaming PC off the shelf...I mean, not Best Buy, but Newegg or something. banananor 08/15/22 4:26:18 AM #2:	things were weird for a few years due to coin mining, and it was objectively better to buy pre-built recently, covid supply chain problems and then the russian invasion have thrown things for another loop unfortunately, if you care about money you should research and compare. i bought a pre-built off of amazon for roughly $1700 five years ago and it's still doing very well --- You did indeed stab me in the back. My laptop from the same time I purchased it as the PC still runs as well as it used to and my son uses it now.
