I wish we had one.... I graduated in 03' so next year would be a 20 year reunion. But my school wasn't exactly known for being intelligent.

My high school class had like 180 people in it- when we had our reunion like 35 people went. This was in 2016- our ten year reunion was all right. It wasnt bad but Im not sure I will come back for a 20 year reunion.

The government printed $13 trillion dollars from 2020-2021. That's the source of the inflation. Other factors that causes prices to rise particularity for restaurants is the minimum wage increasing, and government artificially increasing overhead costs on a business by adding more regulations and taxes.

we had an unofficial 5 year reunion that I went to and got properly fucked up on booze and drugs. I skipped the official 10 year one tho.

Almost everyone would agree including non libertarians that no matter how much reform ideas people come up with, you can't reform it. The only real solution is to abolish it.

Well it's true, it's not so much about having a much more educated response, it's just people respond ignorantly such as yourself. You have the government controlling education, yet most Americans don't know anything about the government, how laws are passed, the 3 branches of government and what they do. The system doesn't work.

Also I think everyone's lives would different if we actually had a choice in education during our childhood.

I don't think we've ever had any.

yes, so educated. the system is flawed and kids aren't getting the education they need, so your solution is to scrap the education system entirely, make getting an education optional, and bring back exploitative child labor and let corporations get away with even more anti-worker shit than they already are. yeah, great solution!

COVID killed.the ten year but I wasn't going regardless. The people I still care about are a text away.

I wasn't invited to one, not sure if there was one. Haven't been on FB since 2015 which was the year before what would have been the 10 year if there was one.

Haven't been in touch with high school people in a very long time.

We had some people from my class create a Facebook group at the time and got some people interested. Then they went from planning to it be at a campground with a large cabin to being at a local bar near the school. I was out of state so when they changed it to a local bar I wasnt going to spend the money on it for people I barely talked to at the time or think about today.

When the day came only about 5 girls showed up and it was the same girls who were always friends so I dont think it was a reunion lol.

I am not more educated than others, it's just common sense. Compulsory education has never worked in the US, even when it was first implemented in Massachusetts in 1852. What about other countries you ask? The modern public school as you know it started in the state of Prussia in the late 1700s and every country in the world, it's educational system is similar to Prussia's. Japan for example modeled it's government during the Meiji period after Germany and along that they copied their educational system too.

But even ignoring the history behind public schools as you see in the US it doesn't work, because we are suppose to be a free country, and compulsory education conflicts with that freedom. There would be a lot less violence and school shootings that's for sure.

nope. I've never even been informed of any. Would have been 20 year last year but I doubt there would have been a reunion because pandemic

I would entertain a HS reunion. My 20 year is coming up - if I get a notice, I'll probably go.

But you are a fool if you believe the purpose of public schools is to help the poor, it obviously hasn't done that. If you think the public school system is necessary to get Americans "educated", you should at least know some of it's history.

And it obviously conflicts with our freedoms, some would consider it a violation of the 13th amendment. Never mind the fact that public schools exposes kids to all forms of violence, delinquent behavior, and propaganda. It is anti-family as well, and no one is really getting educated. How is that freedom?

They had a 10 year reunion 5 years ago and I didnt go. I saw the list of people attending and didnt see too many names of people I hung out with so didnt bother going. I also didnt have much going for me at the time either.

Yes I went to the 10 year reunion. Our graduating class had about 550 people. Almost immediately after we graduated a girl in our class start a Facebook group exclusively for the high school reunion. She added the vast majority of the graduating class (at least 450 of my graduating class is in the group) and kept us updated frequently all the way up until the 10 year mark. Roughly 200 people showed up to our 10 year reunion in 2016.

I tried to go once. I moved my junior year to a different state and finished there.

I move back home and attempted to go to a reunion at my old high school where the majority of my school friends were but the organizers refused to let me in because I technically didn't graduate there.

I don't even know if one happened, but I wouldn't have gone either way

I wish, but my 20 year one happened in the middle of COVID Lockdown. I tried to get on the Reddit to find some people, I even uploaded our entire senior all night party to YouTube, but not a single person I went to school responded.
