Based on the myths. Nothing to do with comics

It would be like Left Behind, but for pagans. The plot is that in modern day, the Viking apocalypse suddenly happens. The gods exist. And the world is ending. The movie would follow a group of humans trying to flee the chaos. We would see gods mostly only from a distance. Fighting each other, monsters, giants etc. Imagine people running through a city while gods clash and destroy entire city blocks with each strike

If done right, it could be cool

Okay . Yes.

I've been looking for a place to talk about that, like more along the lines of Jotun than God of War or a manga or fantasy story. A reasonable adaptation. And I do like Jotun. It's my go to for Norse fiction, visually.

Ideally sure, Id love this.

But im a bit wary of public domain IPs getting hollywood movies because outside of Disney it often feels that they put a lot of money into the CGI but everything else is bad. (Not that Disney is always quality, but their fairy tail rip-offs tend to at least have genuine effort and talent behind them)

If it reviewed well, or at least got really good word of mouth, I'd check it out. Otherwise Id just assume it was on the same level as like, Gods of Egypt or the Clash of the Titans remake

There's a movie on Netflix called Ragnarok. It's not good. Made it 3/4 of the way in before realizing it was a YA/family movie lol and by that point t I was invested so just finished it

This. A movie about the gods facing Ragnarok would be awesome, but I wouldn't care that much about normal humans during the chaos.
