Pitbulls are fine if the owner is responsible. Keep it on a leash or have it muzzled

If you're not strong enough to hold a leash then it's your own damn fault, get a metal chain leash if you're not confident it wont bite through it

The people who argue that pit bulls as a breed have nothing to do with their aggression are never able to answer the follow-up questions: if the problem is exclusively the owner, then what are the demographics of pitbull owners and why are they uniquely terrible at raising dogs to be non-aggressive?

Either there's something about Pitbull owners that make them uniquely terrible, or pit bulls being pitbulls plays a factor into their behavior. But regardless of the reason, they still top the charts in terms of attacks, so saying it's the owner rather than the dog seems like a weird deflection because you're saying the source of the problem is something else and then walking away before proposing a solution to a very obvious problem.
