Yes, it would've been a disaster for the industry as Biden and most politicians at that time would've banned any video games with mature content from being sold to retail. Quake would never exist. Boggles my mind that Night Trap was once so controversial it was spoken of in the same conversation as Mortal Kombat. But anyways politicians barely understand how cellphones work they would absolutely butcher the game industry. I feel like that would be the main argument presented against 1A protection. Woulda been interesting to see how that went.
