isnt 60-40 the average proportion across the country for abortion? I think people who were surprised just think that kansas is especially conservative

Now, if Democratic voters nationwide can stay motivated, and show up to the polls in 2022, we can start taking the nation back from the fascists , I mean Republicans

I live in Kansas and neither outcome would have surprised me. Between living here and looking at the polling, I figured it'd be a toss up.

So I'm not surprised the amendment failed, but I'm very pleasantly surprised it absolutely got crushed. I really figured it'd be a nail-biter but the thing was basically dead even before the JOCO votes came in and erased all doubt.

Not if SCOTUS has anything to say about it.

It's pleasantly surprising, but these states protecting abortion does nothing for the women that live in one of the many states where they've already been stripped of all freedom and dignity.

Most people want liberal policies. They only vote Republican because of a glitch in the matrix.

In the past when tyrants pressed their rule too far they were dragged from their fortresses and torn to pieces in the streets, especially when they were not given power by the will of the people.

tbh i am surprised that given these numbers, people still vote for republicans

like where is the sense in "I want liberal polices, enforced by non-liberal leadership"

This, apparently I live in/frequent a very catholic area. Vote yes signs were god damn everywhere and the few no signs I saw would disappear and reappear.

Nationality, I recall something like over 70% of the country supports abortion in some capacity.

That includes those that are only for abortion in the case or rape, heartbeat bills, etc
