i google searched and a lot of sites say at least once every 3 months. i don't have access to 2 step accounts personally so the answers may vary.

i can say my family: mom and younger siblings have admitted that they never change their passwords, i think when my grand mother was alive she didn't either.

i have changed some pretty frequently, but there are some that have been a little over 3 months already, some of which that might be even as long as 3 years.

gmail ones are a bit more complicated when using a chromebook as far as i've noticed. when you change it its not recognized as the new password until you unsync passwords and then restart the system. so i'm a bit hesitant. then its called a new device when you sign back in for some reason. at least that's how it was on my older chromebook, not sure about this newer one.
