I had done one of my girlfriends makeup for her high school reunion, but that was all the way LAST summer at this point. I wasnt nearly as good and I didnt have nearly the collection I have now. You know what I would absolutely love to do is makeup for perfume and cologne ads, since you get to design for both still shots and video and they use the most interesting lighting and fashion accents, plus the makeup compositions themself are so experimental. You also get to work with such a variety of models, including famous stars and that. Im sure its one of the most prestigious jobs in the industry and very far beyond my reach, but fantasizing about it still motivates me to try and become better. Idk, Ive been thinking of my future a lot lately, not to be morose but now that I can actually imagine myself having one, I feel pretty far behind in terms of planning. I have a career tract through my current job that would entail taking over the contract when my boss retires, but Im not exactly thrilled about the idea of mail delivery as a life long career. So Im thinking of enrolling in some form of beauty school and either learning more advanced hair and makeup or maybe how to do nails and waxing since the idea of finishing my bachelors doesnt appeal to me either. I did get my makeup done for my wedding and also for a holiday party years back. Its always nice for it to be something I dont have to worry about messing up. I usually do my own makeup now that I picked up some tips and such but I like the experience of just it being something off my plate.
