Just to add to this, no only was I at the airport, but I had to stay the night. Delta cancelled my connecting flight about 20 mins after it was supposed to take off. They had all their staff leave for the day before doing so that people couldn't complain, and I couldn't afford a hotel. So I got to try to sleep at the gate.
