I don't know whether that says positive things about Game pass or negative things about Microsoft's current generation lineup. When gamepass first came out I bought like 4 years of Xbox Live for $120 and then upgraded to GPU for $1. I would need more than the 300 something GB available on the Series S, at the time the only storage upgrade was $220, so I figured if it's going to cost that much anyway I might as well just buy the series X. Having played both, to me the biggest differentiator between the two was actually the Series X compatibility with One X versions of games.
