Gabriel Dropout this time. But I've been burned on this a lot in the past. Nothing hurts quite as bad as Saint Seiya Lost Canvas though.

This is why I never went back to Super. I stopped right before the Tournament of Power, but I don't care since there's no confirmation of it even coming back.

Yeah a lot of anime these days is basically just an advertisement for the source material. Kinda makes it hard to get invested in watching anime at this point, like I just want a complete and decently written story, is that too much to ask for?

One of the reasons I still look back fondly at stuff like Saber Marionette is because they have actually proper conclusions.
