So let's say I earn 1000 a month after taxes, which is normal in the Eastern European country that I live in. What should I be asking for when I would want a raise?

A 100 euro increase? More?

Here in America getting raises that are actual negations are becoming more rare. We are lucky to get a paltry cost of living raise of 3%. And thats only with good jobs. It barely covers inflation. When I worked in food service a decade ago I would get a 25 cent raise randomly. It felt worse than just staying at what I made.

I am excluding high base pay jobs and executive suite positions as they are not subject to this and usually have other bonuses involved, IE stock given or good options.
