Oh shit is that a spider cricket? Those bastards have a defense mechanism where they launch themselves AT the perceived threat. One time one of these hopped up onto our ottoman and then shot towards us and I did a backflip right over the couch with a bowl of cereal in my hand.

They are harmless but are also gigantic and quick as hell. I collected that one and threw him outside and the next morning we found his corpse outside the door like he was clawing at it all night trying to get back in.
