Comes out tonight at 3AM EST.

This is the last episode. I wonder who, if anybody, will show up. Carol? Banner? Monica Rambeau? I hope it gets back to the vibe of the first couple of episodes.

Hopefully it ends up being a situation where you could have just skipped the last two episodes and it'll be a complete show.

Decent finale. One of the better ones for the D+ Marvel shows in that it wasn't a complete mess. Still didn't really live up to the potential of the first few episodes.

Had an extremely severe case of Disney Channel, but I guess that isn't too wild considering the targeted demographic. The villain was just a complete moron for no real reason though, I didn't like that. I also wonder why they had her specify non-lethal weaponry and then they showed that said weaponry was capable of blowing holes in brick walls.

But the weirdest thing had to be that the show had her picking up bits and pieces of her costume throughout the show and then in the finale...her mom just buys her costume? What?

Interesting post-credits scene too. I guess I should get around to watching Captain Marvel at some point.

Oh, I also quite liked that little play on words at the end too where they dodged around the word inhuman. I guess she's a mutant in the MCU. Not really a surpsie. The fact that they've done that musical cue twice now makes me wonder if the inevitable X-Men movie will have the full theme.

6 episodes is normal for Disney + shows.

That was my favourite episode even without the stuff at the end.

Going full "power armour" looked cool at the end there.

She finally said Embiggen but she still doesn't have her real powers. Maybe she gets them in the movie

At this point, I think ya'll have to come to terms with the fact that she's not getting stretchy powers.

So they just upgraded her to the first mutant instead of that Inhuman nonsense. I'm down with that.

Seems like the official theme for the X-Men in the MCU is the X-Men TAS theme.

Carol looked mad different. Like she's been through shit. Guess this also confirms the Bangle is Kree.

It's an odd choice for them to include the Kree then if the are going forward as a Mutant, and not an Inhuman.

The bangle probably just unlocked her dormant X-Gene. Having the Inhumans and mutants together wouldnt really work.

What if the mutant origin is related to the Kree in the MCU?

I'm assuming because of the blue hand and Carol being closely linked to the Kree and using whatever she used on the opposite end to switch with Kamala.

There's also the fact that the bangle was found in The Mandarin's temples, and we just had something recently where a mutant and Inhuman showed up side by side, so who knows lol.

Bruh I would have NEVER guessed this show would be how they introduce mutants into the MCU

Also Carol's "Oh no no no" expression to all the Captain Marvel shit in Kamala's bedroom makes me think there's gonna be an idol/mentor-obsessive fangirl dynamic and that should be a lot of fun.

There was even a brief glimpse of a statue (or was it a mummy?) of what may have been a Kree in Moon Knight. *Then again I can think of a prominent blue- skinned individual with origins in Egypt

Yeah I'm thinking this is the best Marvel show. A little slow in the second act, but closed strong.

My favorite character is Yusuf. He's just so cute and earnest as a dad.

Turns out it didn't matter anyway.

Most of it was pretty tacky. Not anymore so than the end of Hawkeye though

Ah. I just watch everything in the theater.

Aahhh, that was a really good episode! Ms. Marvel as a whole was really really good. I felt it was slipping pretty hard in episodes 4 and 5, but I'm glad it ended with such a good episode.

Now we wait for She-Hulk

Decent finale. Feels like this show didnt bite off more than it could chew

Didnt love the teenagers Home Alone-ing off armed whatevers but other than that I was satisfied with the rest.

Not bad. At least up to the final part outside where Kamran started loosing control. They tried to make him a villain 2 minutes after they were about to kiss lol. Also, the final costume looked pretty good.

The after-credits was also pretty good. Felt like the ones from the movies.

And the Mutant stuff has huge implications. Guess we can put the Incursion/Secret Wars stuff leading to them to rest. Also means MCU Professor X and Magneto are already out there in the main timeline.

And yeah, Yusuf is great. Aamir too.

I disagree. They were trying to defy him becoming the villain right to the end.

I would definitely put this higher on the MCU shows when it comes to finale's, but it's still a little rough and underwhelming but I think because of the target audience the show was aiming at. Overall, it was decent in comparison to episode 5 where it felt like a mess. So yeah I'm guessing this is where they introduce mutants. Which is weird, because Kamala was an inhuman in the comics so I'm guessing they're saying the Inhuman show never happened lol.

It seems like Marvel has always struggled to generate interest in any of the Inhumans, so I'm fine with them making Ms. Marvel a mutant instead.

I watched all of Agents of Shield. I thought most of the show was decent, but the whole Inhumans aspect was boring, imo. Then I watched that Inhumans show from start to finish and didn't like it. I thought Black Bolt was intriguing as a concept, not having any familiarity with him, but the way he was used... eh.

The Inhumans concept always came off like a rip-off of Mutants to me. Even though Black Bolt was pretty popular in the comics.

In the MCU, it was supposed to be the answer to Disney not being able to use the Mutants because of Fox. But then it kind of failed.

I don't see why they'd bring it back when they just spent billions to buy Fox. To the general public, they're way too similar, and it would only confuse. The MoM stuff was like a nod goodbye to them lol.

Haven't even watched the show but watched the big clip everyone's talking about and chills. They're using that sound bite so effectively lmao

Hell yeah it better. At least in the intro sequence or credits if nothing else.

lmao this man Kevin Feige really hates the Inhumans huh. I got a slight chill when the X-Men theme jingled, but that's really stupid.

I liked Carol's haircut at the end there, though. It's my favorite of her hair styles so far.

i still hope they find a way to do both mutants and inhumans somehow. like, they would have all been mutants, but the kree did kree things to some of them and those now need help for their powers to manifest (inhumans), and the rest have it happen naturally (mutants). but no further distinction between them is necessary.

i do have to concede, unhappily, that the further we go along this path, the deader AoS becomes. even if we retcon away the fish oil pills, there were enough terragen'd peeps there that they should be a known thing to at least some people in charge.

And scenes like that are why the episodes heavily featuring her friends and family were way better than the ones in Karachi and India

yea, I wasn't a fan of her trip.

it made sense for adding to the lore and the time travel thing, but it was still weaker than her scenes back home in New Jersey.

I would have liked her time travel more if it focused on her and not her ancestor. I wanted to se Kamala explore the past, not see a flashback

I didnt mind the ancestor stuff but it went way too long and focused on the wrong stuff. The Bangle origin was interesting but clearly being reserved for CM2

The flashback episode itself was really good, there just wasn't room for it in a 6 episode show. It hurt the rest of it

I know people shit on reaction channels, but they're a guilty pleasure of mine. The Normies take on this show has been pretty enjoyable because a good chunk of them are Indian/Pakistani/Muslim. Some of them even shared their own family's Partition stories.

It sucks so much because AoS introduced Inhumans in a spectacular way and made it believable. At this point, the only way we'll get any good Inhuman stuff is basically rewatching AoS.

My verdict on this show is that other than the first two and the final episodes, the show was actually bogged down by the superhero stuff. If it was just an immigrant story, I probably wouldn't have watched it, but it would have been a better show most likely.

The scenes involving Kamala with her friends and parents were consistently the best, the stuff with everything else was very uneven.

Well now a reputable leaker (I believe DanielRPK) is saying that this isn't the death sentence for the Inhumans that people think it is and that they might end up coming back in a major way

In the comics Rick Jones and Marvel's original Captain Marvel at one point could use the Nega-Bands to swap location with each other. My guess is that part of the plot of The Marvels will be based on that storyline but with Ms Marvel, and current Captain Marvel instead of Rick Jones and older Captain Marvel.
