As long as no harm comes to them. Make them as publicly uncomfortable all you like. Never let them forget what they did.

Not sure. Have to believe in something strong enough for it to galvanize you to violence. Everyone has their breaking point, but it'll be different for everybody. Protect yourself, protect your family, protect your community, protect your country. All strong motivators. There's a fine line between justice and vengeance, though.

The French or Russian peasantry didn't ask nicely for the Nobility and Aristocracy to give up their power. The rich and powerful are never going to let you vote away their wealth or power. The guy in question had a gun and was in the same city then called the cops and said he was afraid he was going to do something to a scotus member, then turned himself in when the cops arrived. So not even an assassination attempt.
