all the fate and leve RNG has caused this to take hours and im up to 3 of 9 books completed. who even knows what comes next after these 9 books, probably another 10+ hours worth of grinding, for one relic

Maybe you misunderstood

Maybe they meant 24 hours straight gameplay

The ARR relics might be the last thing I ever do in the game, as everything about it sounds like it'd burn me out of enjoying the game completely.

i dunno whats next after these books, but so far everything ive been able to watch youtube videos while nobraining through. the most painful aspect is the rng to get the fates or leves you need since you need specific ones

It all just looked like so much to me when I looked up what was needed and given I'm only a casual player it'd mean that's basically all I'd ever do when I played.

it's also like 400k gil per ARR relic, since you need expensive vendor items for one of the steps

Unless they changed it at least one of the later steps was timegated so unless you were farming for it ahead of time and already acquired the items you literally cant do it in 1 day.

That's one of the very few things that I haven't done in this game. And I have every single SB and ShB relic completed. It's so boring.

Im only doing it cause someone said theres extra Endwalker dialogue if you do one of each expansions relic, same with a bunch of other quests I have on a list somewhere

As painful as it is now, keep in mind it was much worse when it was relevant.
