basically, Guts fights Zodd for a little bit and notices that Griffith is going after Casca, and goes after him and tries to attack.

this time the sword doesn't go through Griffith, but it also does nothing to him.

it also seems like chapters might come out more regularly.

So how's the quality? Are people approving the new stuff? I stopped reading around after the eclipse.

The Lost Children arc. Im not sure if anything will be able to top the Golden Age arc.

The general consensus on the anime board is that it's not quite as good but the guy is doing his best. The pacing is definitely rushed because he's trying to wrap things up using the notes that were left, so each of these new chapters covers what probably would have taken three or four chapters before.

The art is as close as anybody else is ever going to get to copying Miura's style, but you can definitely see the cracks when it comes to things like paneling and bodies in motion. If you're paying attention, it's pretty obviously somebody copying another person's style rather than being something wholey unique.

I stopped at that point and felt the same way.

It just started to feel a little generic after the golden age arc.

Overall the art looks a bit better, but Zodd looks a little off

I like the new Zodd. I'm glad they immediately started going for something a little different or stylized. It reminds me more of the cover art. But obv still the manga. Etc

Miuras drawings were TOO detailed. Give me regular chapters instead of 1 million lines of detail on a castle wall.

Berserk's art evolves and I hope it continues to do so

Pacing is much faster. With Miura we would have waited at least a year before all this was done.

You're going to be real disappointed because that should realistically not be an option. Either he wins or there's some kind of compromise. It makes no sense for Guts to beat him without some dumb shonen asspull

Guts just cant catch a break
