If the amount of expected lost revenue for the city due to the team leaving is higher than the cost of the dome than it's a reasonable decision. It's sort of like the bank bailout where people love to point it out but most people seem completely unaware that the bailout was a series of loans and the banks actually paid them all back with interest, making the whole process a net profit for government. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz. Even though Soldier Field is easier to get to than Arlington Heights for me.... nah. They fucked up Soldier Field in the last renovation. Let the northwest suburbs deal with that and build a larger barn from scratch. Oh, and reading up on it, this is likely just Lightfoot proposing a DOA plan that'll go nowhere just so she has some cover for losing the Bears to Arlington Heights.
