He's the man who tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan back in the 80s and just got out of prison after serving his sentence. He's become a musician and is trying to do concerts but every time he gets booked somewhere they end up cancelling it due to backlash from people.

Anyway, he did his time and is genuinely sorry for what he did. Plus, Reagan actually forgave him. I'm not a fan of Reagan at all but it takes a hell of a person to forgive the person that tried to kill you. That being said, I've heard some of John's music on YT and he's just really not very good. There's really no reason to go to a concert of his other than for the novelty of seeing the guy who shot the president in person. But that will quickly wear off after the first song and then you'll be wondering why you wasted your money to go there.
