Bad cut of meat but made a chimichurri rub and fucked it up a little. Came out medium rare cuz it was so thin.

I find $7 strip steaks all the time. Its so foolish to pay steakhouse prices when you could literally have a steak for less than what it would cost to get McDonalds.

I agree. My steak was like 40% fat (which I like tbh) but my girls steak was pretty nice. I don't ever pay more than $15 for a two pack of ribeyes that could last us maybe two meals. This was a 2 pack for $7 tho so they were completely mangled.

You get what you pay for with steak. Good shit isn't pre packaged, I only get steaks where they have to wrap it up in front of me. Spend the extra money and get them from a legit butcher

I mean sure but I get plenty of good steaks prepackaged. These were just on sale. $7 ribeye pack of two is extremely rare to find.

There is nothing wrong with making good food out of what you have.
You save so much money. You learn a ton. And it makes you versatile.

Surprisingly good. A little cooked for my liking but kinda hard to eye when it was cut so bad. Very thin at parts. Otherwise delicious though.

Also I'm all about cooking "bad shit" and making it good. It's half the fun on a frugal week lol
