If people went into phase 4 expecting everything to be Endgame level, that's on them. NWH and MOM were great and a lot of the D+ shows as well.

I think the issue is that the most of the TV shows don't have enough variety and characters to justify being compelling TV shows.

Hopefully they figure it out.

I think that they're decent, but I wouldn't use "great", and I'm not sure if I'd call them good, either.

my issue with them is that they try to put too much stuff in the movies, and the plots aren't given a chance to be eased into or anything -they end up being really fast-paced, too.

IMO, Shang-Chi is the best one, so far, despite its disappointing last act. NWH comes in second, but it relies heavily on nostalgia to make some of the stuff work. then the others.

Yeah, it should have been obvious this is the equivalent to phase 1 but with some stuff already in place.

Yeah for sure. I mean some of the first movies in it were Shang-Chi and Eternals. Not exactly heavy hitters as far as hype goes.

I find the issue with the tv show is trying to hold back everything till the finale. So you get a slow boring show at the start and then a rushed ending.

Yeah I think Ms Marvel is heading towards a better direction.

Also yeah the Marvel shows seem to almost be afraid of having multiple plotlines and ensemble casts. I think it's okay for a superhero show to have the odd episode where they deal with a lesser villain.

The more I think about MOM (lol) the less I remember about it. It's a really forgettable movie.

Yep. If you build the entire show off cameos or reveals then the weakness really shines through once the glamour of those reveals have settled in.
