Gotta go with the original. 1 is the best balance of fun and challenge. 2 is fun and unique but poorly designed. If it ever gets a remake, it'll be top tier. 3 is good but too fucking hard. 4 is solid, but fuck the final level and bosses. Adventure is unplayable. Belmont's Revenge is sneaky good. Bloodlines is a gem, and I like that I plays differently. Kid Dracula is decent but not Vania enough. --- ~Jacksonville Jaguars~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

When I was younger, I definitely preferred 3 and 4...moreso 3. But now a days, there is just something about 1's length and simplicity that I really love. I own this collection, and I've definitely played 1 the most. And for the Castlevania 4 voters (presumably because it's the easiest), this collection also includes the JP version of Castlevania 1, which has an easy mode where you take less damage and suffer NO knockback.
