Two things. Is Biden really doing nothing or is every attempt to do something being blocked? And would you have the alternative option in the general election?

Plenty of people unironically blame Biden for rising gas prices, so its not surprising his approval is so low.

Biden and Congressional Democrats are doing vastly less than needed. And Joe Biden is going harder against vapes and immigrants than he's going against student loans or most anything else his administration could do (like, he appointed a dude as AG who obviously has zero interest in the events of 1/6/2020) even without Congress. Joe Manchin played Biden for a fool and killed Biden's only chance at doing literally anything substantial, and Joe Biden made barely a peep. But, then, anyone who knew the first thing about Joe Biden knows he's never passed up a wallet inspection.

And the fact is that the Dems are getting dumpstered in the fall and are saddled with an incumbent president who is almost as unpopular as Trump was(give it time). The problem very much is that this is the path the Democratic Elite chose. Because, they are, fundamentally, completely unequal to the moment. They are failing us, they're completely blind to that, and we will pay a terrible price for their malfeasance and the utter lack of imagination they've carefully cultivated amongst Democratic voters.. My community in particular is already on the chopping block, and most Dem politicians don't seem to give a shit.

I was more speaking on CE's priorities regarding social issues vs economy when making decisions compared to the general population's priorities.

Wasn't necessarily referring to the 2020 election. Which I get is a bit misleading in a topic about Biden's approval rating so thats my bad.
