it still turned out better than any of the three new trilogy films. Not that I cared for it that much, but it was at least watchable.

7 and 8 were ok movies with questionable and lore destroying story direction. 9 is just the worst movie ever. Solo is just meh. My problem with it was how unnecessary it was and showed for the first time how far Disney was going to milk the series. It was the first sign of fatigue.

I watched it a couple years after its release and found it to be way better than I assumed it would be. The ending made me very frustrated when I realized it would never be continued. Solo 2 could have been really cool

solo was decent but WTF was up with the lighting?

I've seen Solo 4 times now and I've enjoyed it more with each viewing.

But it was doomed to be hated by fans as soon as they didn't bring Harrison Ford back and doomed to flounder as soon as they changed, what, directors like 2/3 of the way through

Also I didn't mind Lando's droid that much. While it was a bit in the face, I thought it was fine as is.

Every time I see Solo I become more convinced that at one point they wanted to make a film noir Blade Runner-esque but then shifted to a comedy heist (Oceans Eleven) and then failed to commit to that and ultimately settled on gritty side tale.

Solo was actually a pretty fun movie
