multiple thin patties, and they turn out way better all smashed down if youre using Beyond or Impossible anyway.

I generally like thinner more manageable burgers. Like those monster burgers at Red Robin look great but in the end its just too much food

I prefer multiple thin patties than a thick one. I don't really care for beef too much though.

I like a thicker juicy patty. I make bomb turkey burgers and just biting into it and having juice run out is the best feeling

Thinner patties can be cooked more consistently but the problem is with places that have so little meat in the burger that its more bun and toppings than beef.

Thick burgers have the risk of less even cooking which is unfortunate, especially for people that dislike uneven cooking
