damn, living in areas that don't regularly experience these kinda phenomenons, it's crazy to think how many people can be displaced, injured, or killed from nature like this. A mix of Racism, Anti Taliban Sentiment(Which yes Taliban are evil fuckers) and many people have probably written Afghanistan/The middle east off as a lost cause/A shithole(Not saying that is correct). Might be some burnout on awful news as well. And yeah media will cover this less then they would if it was say...Europe, Japan or North America. Distance + Bigotry/ignorance + Evil regime=Apathy ...
