No, my homeowners is though

I have no idea. First car I insured was an old pickup so I only had to have liability so it was dirt cheap. By the time I had to pay for full coverage on a new car, I was years into my policy with no accidents so I currently pay like $150/mo for insurance on both of them

Your first car doesnt mean anything. Your insurance costs are typically determined by

Your age
Your gender (if you are under 30 women pay less)
If you have full coverage, the value of your car
If you have any tickets/accidents/claims on your recent record
Your credit score

State farm has me down to $51/mo which includes my renters'

And that's after four speeding tickets (though the last one was in April 2016)

I pay like $91/mo for a 2021 Subaru WRX though that's with collision/comprehensive at 1k/500 deductibles and 100/300k injury and 50k property damage liability.
