Just enter one of the dozens of singing competitions if you're any good. AGT should be for every other performance that doesn't have their own show to go on.

Of course, if the singer has some sort of giant gimmick or act that happens to involve singing that's fine. I mean the people who just go there to sing

Yeah, they kinda get a free pass when they have to 'step it up'. All they have to do is sing a different song.

There was a talent show at my college once and literally 90% of them were just fuckwads singing really badly. Why is it always singing in talent shows?

I agree. I always thought it would be better if there weren't any singers on AGT. Like, the first few seasons, either a singer won, or they were the runner up. But there's already so many shows for singers.

The golden buzzer clips always get reccomended to me on YouTube and I scroll through them to see what type of act it is, and it's ALWAYS a singing act. If the thumbnail is a kid I don't even have to scroll to know it's a singing act.

You dont understand the saturation of singers in the world. You coule fail even if you have an amazing voice. For once you seriously need a gimmick to be a singer....
