Or would he escape and deny God and enter his own world of science turning away in disgust? And why are they fighting? The problem with fighting Manhattan is that he doesnt have a corporeal body, but it's not magical in nature, which is a unique problem considering the extent of his abilities. It's like the Dune Messiah on a scale beyond what is comprehensible. DrManhattan was treated as if he were a Lovecraftian deity. Killing it isn't an option. Someone you can't kill, who can manipulate matter, and warp reality to a potential infinitely destructive extent. He was written to be the most powerful entity in existence, basically, and to explore the irony behind the depression and depressions this causes him. ~~Anyone capable of time traveling might be able to do the trick, depending on the rules of time travel, if they prevent Manhattan from ever being created.~~ Also an entity similar to Manhattan himself or with the right powers might be able to defeat him or corrupt him. But you gotta wonder if that should really end up being a standstill, or if they destroy each other and create a new being, that sort of stuff. Or, like in Watchmen, if they would decide to not fight using the power of their great minds to find a different solution. but other than that? Idk. There are tons of undefeatable characters out there who weren't meant at all to meet each other because they represent something very special in their own fictional universes. It's like, could etc God character kill Manhattan? And if Manhattan exists in a world without God, are you so sure? It's like, could etc God character kill Manhattan? And if Manhattan exists in a world without God, are you so sure?

Thanos is a good example

But I kinda wonder if Manhattan wouldn't be able to take him......

The problem with fighting Manhattan is that he doesnt have a corporeal body, but it's not magical in nature, which is a unique problem considering the extent of his abilities. It's like the Dune Messiah on a scale beyond what is comprehensible. 

DrManhattan was treated as if he were a Lovecraftian deity. Killing it isn't an option. Someone you can't kill, who can manipulate matter, and warp reality to a potential infinitely destructive extent. He was written to be the most powerful entity in existence, basically, and to explore the irony behind the depression and depressions this causes him. 

 Anyone capable of time traveling might be able to do the trick, depending on the rules of time travel, if they prevent Manhattan from ever being created.

Also an entity similar to Manhattan himself or with the right powers might be able to defeat him or corrupt him. But you gotta wonder if that should really end up being a standstill, or if they destroy each other and create a new being, that sort of stuff. Or, like in  Watchmen, if they would decide to not fight using the power of their great minds to find a different solution.

but other than that? Idk. There are tons of undefeatable characters out there who weren't meant at all to meet each other because they represent something very special in their own fictional universes. It's like, could etc God character kill Manhattan? And if Manhattan exists in a world without God, are you so sure?
