New Vegas was such a cool location. Mostly desert, not lacking in towns or cities though. Lots of land to explore, plenty of unique creatures. Plus it had a bit of a cowboy feel in a ton of ways, which lended itself well to the game. And the music! Who doesn't love Big Iron?

I actually like Fallout 3/4's settings better. They just filled New Vegas with more interesting and deep stuff.

Well, FO3 had more of a 'destroyed city' feel to it. Even when you were outside the cities, like on the way to Rivet City, it was near the water. The inland was all cities or towns, not a lot of stuff like abandoned mineshafts or mountainsides to explore.

FO4 more or less was just spotty location after spotty location, no towns to be concerned with besides Diamond City and Bunker Hill because they wanted you to build your own settlements. And a lot of the creatures were just the same ones from FO3. No Geckos or even unique variants like the Albino radscorpion and the like.

NV had a much better location, imo.

Fallout 4's setting was so uninteresting. I can't think of any landmarks or locations that stick out in that game.

Nothing like Dinky the Dinosaur, the Lucky 38, Primm, the Mojave Outpost etc

Agreed, but the location was also really well done overall.

NV is the better game but I prefer the setting of 3. 4's was terrible.

I wouldnt mind a freaking remake of one or two at this point, then again they would probably mangle the tone and humor so perhaps not.
