Republicans will vote, because that's just what they do

Democrats will stay home, largely disaffected by what many see as a party unwilling to fight against a group (conservatives) that have all but abandoned any sense of political and social decorum in favor of attaining power and rigging the system so they keep it.

We get president DeSantis, transgender rights are severely rolled back, the social safety net is gutted, a blow torch is taken to voting rights reform and Texas becomes the official textbook marketer to public schools nationwide.

A new breed of liberal reactionaries spend 4 years getting rich off of roasting DeSantis

President O'Rourke is elected in 2028 and we do this all over again

Thus feels like a genuine vision of the future.

Americans will definitely vote for the people directly causing gas prices to stay high.

Republicans won't fix anything for two years even if they win the house and senate as actually fixing the problems will make Biden look good.

The right have been trying to create their own Twitter and even buy Twitter just to try to win this nonsense culture war for hat only exists in their heads.

The GOP has been the enemy of public education for decades and anyone who cares about schooling would know that.

You're probably right, but unfortunately the climate change agenda absolutely can't be shelved.

We're already past the point of no return on climate change. Things are going to get bad no matter what. We need to make changes now.

Ah yes, the smart plan to increase non-renewable energy sources while cutting back the renewable energy. Kick the can down another dozen years and wait until there's an actual energy emergency. :D

Move to where? Most countries aren't going to just let you move to and live there.

I wouldn't put it past Americans. Most people are pretty fickle and won't critically think when they vote...if they even vote. The problem is that the Republican cult-like base will vote in large numbers while Democrat voters are more susceptible to apathy.

You almost can't blame people for not voting because people don't get much from Democrats (and we some reason keep voting establishment types in primaries). Republicans can boast about Roe vs Wade which will appease their religious voters.

They shouldn't have to convince voters to vote for them in today's America. There's two options to choose from, an ineffective party that gets nothing done, and a party that wants to move to fascism. How is this a choice that requires convincing voters?

Whenever someone compares the 2 parties that control America I always say the same thing. Republican governor Snyder poisons a city in Michigan. Democrat governor Whitmer gave sick pay( even part time workers) to every worker in Michigan. BuT BoTh SidEs ArE ThE sAME!

Yes, midterms are going to be a bloodbath and some people are already calling for Biden to announce that he won't be running for reelection in 2024.
