That's really unfortunate. Maybe the entire character is just boring, then. All I know is that Brie Larson did absolutely nothing that made me want to see more of her. Every other major hero at least has some kind of draw, some kind of reason to want to see more. Be it their powers, their personality, their history/villains...but nah, there's nothing there.

Maybe she was perfectly cast and it's just a bad role, but characters like Nebula, Scarlet Witch, and Black Widow manage to be badass, powerful, and likeable.

I can't imagine someone better for Hulk than him.

Mark Ruffallo in first Avengers where he gives Scar Jo that look when hes turning into the hulk on the helicarrier. Its phenomenal. He communicates so much fear and warning in just one look

And then the scene in Ragnarok where he sees Black Widow in the video and Banner and hulk fight for control.

Shit man. You can hate him all you want but these two scenes alone are amazing. Wont hear to it

Ruffalo's best performance was when Black Widow tried to recruit him. I jumped off my chair on that scene.

The only thing Infinity War did wrong was make the Hulk into a little cry-baby. I get why he lost to Thanos--a being of comparable, possibly even superior strength, who's had lifetimes of combat experience, using skill and technique against brute force...Thanos beating the Hulk made perfect sense and should have happened exactly the way it did.

The thing that sucked was making him into a total coward after that. It might have been worth it if we got a huge redemption moment in Endgame where Banner-Hulk used the combination of intelligence and raw power to actually win a skirmish with Thanos for a while. Something like that would have played HUGE with the audience. As it was, the Hulk could have just as easily not been in Endgame at all. He basically didn't do anything remarkable (except the reverse snap, which Thor, Captain Marvel, or even Nebula could have done.)

Mark is perfect as Banner. You guys probably don't even read comics. I can't imagine someone better for Hulk than him.

Eric Bana was the perfect Banner. I mean, the movie he was in sucked but he was perfect.

Also Carol Danvers is kind of a massive bitch in the comics, so the casting as someone not that likeable is actually pretty accurate. I think most people who whine about Brie, have never actually read a Carol Danvers comic

It definitely would have killed Nebula.

I think it could have been BS'd that she survived because of all her augmentations and whatnot. Honestly, the writers have full liberty to decide how and why somebody could survive making the snap. It would have been poignant for her character, too, since she spent a long time serving Thanos' goals and could have finally done something to make up for the wrong she committed in the past. We literally had her confront and kill her past self to drive home how much she had transformed since we first saw her.

Plus, it could have been a small nod to the comics, when she steals the gauntlet from Thanos.

All's I'm saying is that it could have been just about anybody who did it. A lot of characters had an arc that would have been equally served by undoing the snap. In fact, giving it to the Hulk felt almost anticlimactic, since he honestly had the least to do with confronting Thanos. He got one fight, lost, then got scared. Then snapped everyone back to life and stayed scared. He never even swung a single fist at Thanos in Endgame.

I can't imagine Joe as a nerd though; he's like a giga Chad. But using his giga Chad-ness, he can also play the part of the muscle-bound buffoon.

They need quips so that people don't feel too silly watching a story about men in spandex punching other men in spandex

I can't believe people would list RDJ. His performance alone made the MCU last more than a couple of films

on second thought, maybe it was not that bad because it will prevent him to be casted as other marvel characters.

If Josh Brolin and Chris Evans get to double-dip (retroactively, tho), nothing's stopping Vin from at least showing up in one of those Sony Spiderman spinoffs.
