I started off playing the SNES then branched off to the Playstation because I was a cool kid. Going from the SNES to the Playstation was a mind blowing experience. Started off with Crash Bandicoot which was amazing. Got to enjoy the masterpieces that is the Twisted Metal franchise, THPS, Destruction Derby franchise, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, early Need for Speed games, and so much more I am forgetting. Playstation was def the best console ever.

I had both. Two great systems even though graphically they both aged poorly.

I got a PS1 when I was about 17. I was more of an Atari & NES kid.

64 then PS1. Was all about N64 until I got a PS1, then leaned towards that since my interest in RPGs started blowing up

I played my mom's old Atari when I was like 4-5 before I got a SNES. It was alright, but going from that to the SNES was mind blowing as well. I miss the days of being blown away by the next generation of consoles.

Adventure freaked me the fuck out as a kid.

Although my best friend had N64 so I did get to play it a bunch too.

Got an N64 for Xmas the year that it launched (Dec 1996)

I got the PS1 a few months after FF7 came out, so probably like Jan or Feb 1998

I had a PS1 until I was like 4 and then my parents got rid of it and then I played the fuck out of the N64 at my grandma's house for the rest of my childhood

N64. The PS1 had some good games but most of its library did nothing for me. I liked Spyro, Crash, Tomb Raider and a few others.

I mean I didnt have either console til years after their release, then I had both, doesnt mean I had a silver spoon in my butt.

I earned my money and bought my used consoles and games thank you.

Had both, and a Dreamcast at that time. I prefered the PS much more to the N64. I barely played the N64.

I had both. Aside from Gen 4, where I only had the Genesis, I've always had at least 2 of the current consoles.

I had both but I was no kid. I was in my mid teens when both consoles launched

My kid years were from atari to nes to snes and genesis (I had all those during my childhood. Some on my own, others with help from my older brother)

I got the silverspoon at the fleamarket with my PS1. Got the 64 when a Kmart closed down. I remember getting stuff like Ocarina of Time for 80-90% off.

N64. All the RPGs for Nintendo were on handheld lol.

Playstation, which I bought only for Mortal Kombat Trilogy but have stayed with ever since. In fact, to date I don't think I have ever even played an N64.

i had a playstation at my dad's that i probably spent more time playing, but at my mom's they had the n64 and nothing on ps1 or 2 came close to the experiences i had with ocarina of time, mario 64, etc

I wanted the PS1, but due to my cousin and grandparents I got the N64 for christmas first. Then some time later (either months or a year) got a ps1. I prefered the PS1 games, though the n64 still had some greats.
