They eventually became actual heroes and were led by Hawkeye. Then a new iteration of team came out that were all dressed in black and red and were all anti-heroes: Punisher, Ghost Rider, Red Hulk, Elektra, Deadpool and Agent Venom. --- I have nothing else to say ... The only reason I felt it worked in the comics was because all the heroes had been out of commission for over a year. They'd probably set it during the five years the snap took place when the Avengers were not there. Also, I think they should use already established popular villains in the MCU for the team. Make the marketing seem like it's this new team against these popular villains who band together. Then in the movie immediately reveal that the team and the villains are one in the same. Have the climax being the team split and dissolve as one side who wants to do the right thing fights against the side who wants to keep being evil and go through with the plan. --- "But who prays for Satan?
