Drowning is one of my biggest fears. I know how to swim, but fuck if that will save you when you're far out, and being set adrift in a life vest doesn't sound much better.
Someone should make a second smaller boat that you can carry in your pocket in case the bigger boat sinks.

If you had a second smaller boat you wouldn't have two boats you'd have a boat and a ship.

I'd never boat in the ocean, personally. Lake boating is pretty sweet, though.

Most 50+ feet boats have a tender or can have one. And most life rafts will come in a box the size of a mini fridge so it's not too bad to have on smaller boats if that's a concern for you.

Also, most boats don't sink instantly. So unless you are in the middle of the Atlantic, someone will be there to save you before the boat isn't something you can still stand on.

Sounds like fun as long as you hire someone to maintain the thing or devote a lot of time into that yourself.

Or you can just rent boats. You need to give them a deposit of course but the actual rental prices themselves are usually pretty reasonable

I dont think I would ever rent. I want my own boat.

And I want to have grand ol' a big tiddy figurehead in my own likeness on the front off it so that the boobs clap on the surface of the water every time it crests a wave or whatever.

If I ever saw someone drown in person I would probably go catatonic. I would for sure not help them.

I saw a video when I was a kid of 2 people dying like that. I wanna say it was in one of those stupid "faces of death" videos and it is probably what fucked me up.
