This is not a remake, it's a PS5 remaster. Nothing more. Completely pointless. It's also $69.99.

Absolutely insane.

The only good thing is that it's also coming to PC, just after September 2.

I think it's going to be more than a remaster, since for TLoU2, they just gave it a PS5 patch and you can already buy the remaster of the first game on the PS4.

The Last of Us (PS3) already has modernized gameplay and controls. This is obviously a half-asses justification for selling an old game for $70.
