Obi-Wan hiding behind that door then having to sneak over to the side when those 2 stormtroopers were walking towards him and easily should have seen him. The idiotic trench coat thing (there were a million ways to do that better). etc etc...

It's just dumb because those are easy things to avoid but there just wasn't any thought to them. Like a modicum of effort was all that was needed. Just one person looking at the footage and being like "well that looks stupid let's think of another way to do it better".

I saw this comment years ago when Kenobi was announced and Ewan took the stage at the convention. And literal the perfect move would have been for him to come on stage and say Hello there

But thats not what he did. And the comment was like they just clearly arent having fun with this franchise

And I feel like thats the most perfect assessment of all of these properties. The creativity and passion feels completely lacking. This the best they could come up with for the Obi Wan Legacy? Yikes.

This episode is the first one that didn't really click for me. I could have done with a slower, more introspective breather episode in which Obi-Wan reflects on his confrontation with Vader instead of just leaping out of the tank to charge at the next plot point.

They likely know, but her father is a powerful politician. We know the rest of the inquisitors were going to kill Reva for daring to kidnap Leia.
