I make a lot of homemade bean burritos. Still drive an 01 Camry that's been paid off for 15 years.

Ramen comprises a fair amount of my diet.

I've worn the same boots since 2016.

I just quit smoking. It wasn't in order to save money, but that was an added bonus.

I save money by not spending it unless there's something I really want or need.

It helps that I'm not particularly materialistic.

I dont drink

I dont have kids

I have a fuel efficient car

my car insurance payments are low because I have a good driving record

I shop for things on sale

I dont eat fast food or from restaurants and I dont use services like GrubHub

I wait until new movies come on TV to see them

I usually dont upgrade my phone for 5+ years

I eat dinner at my parents house sometimes. I have even considered moving back in with them because rent is like $1700/month.

I keep friend circles who dont do extremely expensive activities and I havent really been dating since the pandemic caused the greed-based, man-made inflation that we have right now.

Cook and eat at home. Shop at Aldi.

My car is old so I haven't had a car payment since 2015 and my insurance is like $50 per month.

Up until this year I had a really low phone bill because I had paid the phone off and had a shitty plan.

I eat extremely basic food everyday and lunch has been the same thing for years.

No kids no car. Haven't really been impacted by inflation and what not thanks to that.

Instead of buying protein shakes or powder I just make my own

Imo it's always been poor service = 10% normal service =15% good service = 18%

I buy store brand bottled water instead of Poland springs :(

"John(or some other generic name), great guy!"
*gets employee discount*

Live with parents.
Never eat out.
Never drink/smoke.
No subscription services.
Cheap prepaid phone plan with no data (calls/sms only).
Wait several years between phone upgrades.
Very little spending in general outside of absolute necessities.
