well, in my personal record book Id go Seinfeld > Louie > curb > its always sunny

if your rankings are differently between Seinfeld, curb, and sunny, then you will probably have a slightly different opinion of Louie than me

Louie is way more serious than those other three. Much more artistic. Still hilarious, but much different

Louie is more of a drama. most of the humor is dark humor

Here is a vague description of one of my favorite episodes:
louie is on a date with a girl
there are some young kids (16-18 year olds) making a ruckus
he asks them to keep it down
they threaten to kick the shit out of him
he apologizes
it ruins the date
he follows one of the kids home

fuckin love that show. Wish it had kept going, it clearly was going somewhere. Wish I could watch it without buying it.
