Gamefly had it on sale, playing on PS4. Gamefly has the best sales but it takes them over a week to get it to you. So you gotta be patient.

It is actually very well done. Looks clean. I don't think stuff like this is worth full price but it is worth $8 a game.

Playing Vice City rn because of Ray Liotta's passing. This is some hard nostalgia right here takes me back to high school.

It has some issues, but the hatred for them is way overblown. I've enjoyed playing them and the updated controls makes it even more enjoyable. I like the graphics update (besides the obvious mistakes) and it can look pretty good for what it is at times. It still shouldn't have been released with a brand new game price.

Speaking of Liotta, I've heard he really didn't much care for doing VC, but he still did an excellent job as Tommy Vercetti.

I want it but it's still too expensive. Once it's like $20 it would be worth it. Also probably all the patches they released since it first came out has helped you enjoy it more as you probably wouldn't have had if you bought it vanilla at release

is the switch version playable or is it still awful?

I've heard it's gotten a lot better, but fundamentally none of those games aged well (although SA aged much better than the other two).

I actually didn't even like them back in the early 2000's. They just felt clunky and bad, even though they were quite revolutionary.

Yeah 22.99 was good for me. I got Far Cry 6 for 12.99 too, it is fun if you like co op shooters

I think people mostly hated it because the practices behind it. The glitches obviously made it an easy target on the surface. But people really wanted it to fail so those practices of giving Mods the finger and taking down other ways to experience it didn't become rewarded.

I was defending it when it came out. Well, more so just documenting my personal experience of a few hours of gameplay and defending myself when called a liar lol. But with that insight, I kind of understand the hate more. Still, I don't take games that serious and Id still buy and play it if I felt like it. There's much farther reaching evils in the world and I don't really care to ruin one my only hobbies by becoming irritable to shady practices in gaming.

I love retro games and I love games like GTA that have a stereotypical crime story to them. The Mafia Trilogy is also very good, I also love Scarface for Wii/PS2 and GUN.
