Scoredle says that you had seven possibilities on the third guess. There was the word you guessed, the word it was, then ampul, almug, almud, algum, and appuy. So basically a 50/50 shot that you got unlucky on.

Thanks for turning me on to it. I've been able to solve every puzzle so far.

Play Quordle as well (recommended by one of you). Not as good at that one. There's been some obscure words on that one.

I've had a couple of Quordle words lately that I only got by brute forcing the remaining options.

Redactle is another word game I enjoy. It takes a random Wiki article and blacks out most of the words that you then have to guess. (Can't get it to work on my phone, however)

Pretty interesting design and a LOT harder than it sounds!

Most people wait until 12 EST AM to poster their guesses, some must be posting from Newfoundland or something though.

And yeah, quordle is fun. I like that there's a practice mode
