I don't get it. I work at a big vacation hotel and you'd think there would be less people with the costs going up and high gas prices but we're busier than ever.

Normally, yes, but a lot of people haven't taken vacations in 2 years or longer so they're itching to get back out there.

Gas is a lot like cigarettes, in that you'll always find money for it somehow.

I get it. I don't drive differently because of gas. It's like an extra $15 a week. It sucks, but what am I gonna do?

Im going on a road trip next month lol.

Maybe American's might start playing close to what the rest of the world paid before the rise in prices.

Considering how expansive the rest of the vacation is, $15-20 extra dollars I'm Gas cost is barely noticeable. A 2 day trip to cedar point I was thinking about would cost hundreds of dollars.

The gas cost driving 200+ to get there seems inconsequential.

Yeah I always get a kick out of hearing people complain about gas who I know for a fact have like 2-4 trucks parked in their driveways (Why so many? Why??) and 0 sensible vehicles. Like bruh you realize you're paying double for gas when you drive something that gets 15 mpg vs. 30, right

Gotta have something that can haul 30 bails of hay at a time though I guess. Never know when you might need to do that.

I live in a city so gas isnt an issue at all.
