I think Netflix has had its time. Their prices for 4k streaming are ridiculous. So much better content now with other streaming services. Who else is cancelling or has cancelled Netflix?

I wait like 6 months before signing up for a free month trial, watch what I want, cancel, and then wait another 6 months or so lol. Although I haven't even bothered to do that in almost a year, so I'm not sure if that's still a thing.

my netflix sub ran out a couple weeks ago. also decided to unplug from hbomax as well. I engaged with all the content I plan on doing. Maybe i'll resub in a year or two when some fresh stuff has built up on the platform

Finally had to drop Netflix. They continue to increase their prices and there continues to be less and less that I care to watch.

I just cancelled this month after about 8 years.

Prices too high for a lack of content i like. The anime selection was good, but there are much better options.

I hope that CR can pick up Triggers content

Last time they notified me of a price increase it was $12/month. If it's 20, I may cancel.

ah yeah for sure its by far the most expensive but at the end of the day for me I still think it way better than the old days or tv/cable/blockbuster/pirates

I cancelled my amazon prime and netflix because they were too expensive. Yeah I get they need to make new shows, yeah I get everybody's got different interests, but I think I'm now at the stage where there are more shows I don't want to watch, than there are those I do.

Doesn't stop them from harassing me every fucking week with 5 off a month or something. I'm cool, I don't want to pay or pirate, I'll just do the thing that gen z don't do, which is to go and physically see a friend and watch something together. They have a subscription, I have beer. We both win.

People saying "cable 2.0" are still sorely mistaken. Even if the price for all the streaming services equals the price of cable, you're still getting zero ads AND you get to choose what to watch.

But unlike cable, you aren't forced into using every single streaming service. Pick any 4-5 of em and you'll be set for months while still being half the cost of cable. AND no ads.

This shit has a loooooooooooooong way to go before it truly hits cable 2.0.
